The Steel Framework The structures are engineer designed and certified, are stable in high wind conditions, like coastal areas such as Tauranga or Wellington. The steelwork is fabricated from grade 350, galvanised, high tensile steel components (Not cheaper MILD steel which will eventually bend. The components can be powder coated for longevity and durability. (Over 100 colours and tones are available for powder coating as per a Dulux colour chart.) Depending on the project, the components can be made of “Black Steel and “Hot Dipped Galvanised” after fabrication is complete, then powder coated or painted. All steelwork work is guaranteed ten years, materials and workmanship (under normal conditions) |

The Shade Fabrics: 36 to Choose From The high density polyethylene fabrics are sourced from three of the world’s best suppliers to give you the best choice possible. The fabrics are available in 36 colours to match or contrast with your decor. The UV block given is up to 99% depending on the colour and manufacturer. They are guaranteed for up to 10 to 15 years against UV degradation, again depending on the supplier. All fabric tops are double stitched and have reinforced corners to ensure longevity in these crucial areas. Waterproof PVC fabric for our sun shades are available in 42colours. The unit tops have reinforced corners and are high frequency welded for strength and durability. |

The Fittings All fittings used on the structures are stainless steel. The nuts used are of the Nylock type, these are self locking so they will not vibrate loose. Tensioning hem wire used on framed or hip roof units are 8mm or 10mm 6/19 galvanised for economy. The Transport The units are sent via road transport or by the best means in each case. |

The Installation Shadepro can supply and fully install the units at your convenience and timeframe. The units can also be sent as a kitset for self installation. Two inspections are required by the council, a footing and a final, a code compliance certificate is then issued for the unit. |

The Site Proper sitting of the units is critical, please call for advise on sitting the structure. As there are so many variables to consider the very best method is a site visit to discuss the options. Vandals and ratbags are a problem everywhere, we have special methods for combating these threats. |
